Exporting data collected from mobile devices

After completing data collection on your mobile device, you need to export the collected data. Mobile-collected data files use the .emp extension—please verify the filename suffix during export.

Export android data

Connect your phone to a computer and enable File Transfer mode. Navigate to the local path Android/data/com.easyar.mega.toolbox/files/MegaStudio/EMP, then export the corresponding data file.

Export iOS data

Exporting using a Mac

  1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac.

  2. Open the Finder application, click the device icon, select Trust, then tap Trust on your phone.

  3. After authorization, click the Files menu, locate the MegaStudio folder under the Mega Toolbox App, and drag MegaStudio to your computer desktop.

  4. Find the EMP folder within MegaStudio. The ***.emp files inside the EMP folder are the collected data files.

Exporting using a Windows PC

  1. Download and install iTunes on your Windows PC.

  2. Connect your iPhone to the Windows PC and authorize trust.

  3. Click the device icon.

  4. Click File Sharing, locate the MegaStudio folder under the Mega Toolbox App, then click Save.

  5. Find the EMP folder within MegaStudio. The ***.emp files inside the EMP folder are the collected data files.

When dealing with large folders, ensure all data is fully exported. Compare the file size on your computer with the original size on your phone.

Click trust

After exporting, use players like PotPlayer or VLC Media Player to check for blurriness, lag, or playback issues. Re-collect data if problems occur.
