Mega Diagnostic Mode: Capture Data from Issues in the Field

When a deployed Mega application encounters localization failures, accuracy deviations, or tracking jitter, describing the symptoms is only the first step. Mega diagnostic mode helps operators save and upload runtime data from when the issue occurs, giving technical support additional evidence for analysis.

The Mega diagnostic tool runs in a mobile or desktop browser, with no installation required. For applications that already meet the integration and version requirements, operators can collect issue data without repackaging the application or involving developers. App EIF recording remains an option for submitting more complete data. See the Mega diagnostic mode guide for details.

Diagnostic mode requires:

• An application with Mega localization integrated, using a V4.0 or later cloud localization library.
• EasyAR Sense 4.11.0 or later for native applications.
• EasyAR Sense Unity Plugin 4003.2.0 or later for Unity applications.
• EasyAR Mega WeChat Mini Program plugin 2.1.0 or later for WeChat Mini Programs.

After enabling diagnostic mode for the target library and binding a device, restart the app or Mini Program to begin automatic runtime data recording. When an issue occurs, use the diagnostic tool to save and upload records as soon as possible. Provide EasyAR technical support with the symptoms, occurrence time, device details, and record filenames. Disable diagnostic mode when data collection is complete. During collection, the target device must remain online and run Mega localization.

The user feedback data collection added in Sense 4.11.0 is intended for investigating Mega localization and tracking issues and requires enabling the Mega localization library testing feature. Follow the documentation for the diagnostic workflow.

Expanded EIF MKV Recording and Playback

Sense 4.11.0 also resolves several EIF MKV compatibility issues, including corrupted images or partial green screens that could occur when recording on some Android devices using armeabi-v7a.

Compatibility and Stability Fixes

In addition to the EIF MKV fixes, Sense 4.11.0 resolves an issue where cameras on macOS could not correctly report image width and height, along with other stability issues. The full list is available in the Sense 4.11 release notes.

Additional Updates and Availability

EasyAR Sense 4.11.0 adds HarmonyOS support, though Unity is not supported for the time being. Unity support will come in the next release.
